Every Donation Creates a New Beginning

Every time you shop or donate at Palmetto Goodwill, you’re doing more than decluttering or discovering something unique—you’re opening doors to job training, education, and employment services that help people in our community transform their lives.

What Does It Mean to Start a New Life?

At Palmetto Goodwill, we believe every member of our community deserves the opportunity to thrive—and that belief fuels everything we do. A “new life” means more than just a second chance; it means hope restored, potential realized, and brighter futures made possible.

We create these new beginnings every day by:

  • Connecting individuals with disabilities to meaningful, sustainable employment
  • Providing job training and support for people reentering our community after incarceration
  • Empowering adult learners—ages 21 and older—at the Palmetto Excel Center to earn their high school diplomas and take bold steps toward lifelong success

Because when barriers are removed, lives are transformed.

Real People. New Lives.

Meet members of our community whose lives were changed through your support.

Lydia

With support from Palmetto Goodwill and the SNAP2Work program, Lydia earned her CNA certification—and the highest grade in her class. Now thriving at Somerby Assisted Living and honored as Employee of the Month, Lydia is building a brighter future for herself and her girls.
