Program Benefits & Funding Support

Palmetto Goodwill helps eligible participants overcome financial and logistical barriers while preparing for a career in healthcare:

No-Cost Training: Eligible, approved participants receive no-cost training, including approved materials, supplies, and certification fees.
Flexible Training Options: Depending on the course and provider, morning, evening, weekend, online, and hybrid options may be available.
Personalized Support: Work with a Success Coach for career planning, regular check-ins, resume and interview preparation, and employment assistance.
Funding Options: We provide funding for SNAP beneficiaries and Veterans (Veteran spouses and dependents included). Those who do not qualify for funding from those programs can contact programs@palmettogoodwill.org for more information.

Who Is Eligible?

Participants must be 18 or older, have a high school diploma or GED, and qualify through SNAP benefits or as a veteran, spouse of a veteran, or dependent of a veteran. Assistance options are available for individuals who need to earn their high school diploma or GED. Participants must complete Career Navigation before training approval.
