2026 Spooktacular Palmetto Goodwill Thrifted Costume Contest
Get creative, get thrifty and get spooky! Palmetto Goodwill is inviting customers and friends and family of our team members to create a Halloween costume using Palmetto Goodwill finds and enter our first annual thrifted costume contest. Show us how you transform thrifted treasures into a creative Halloween look for a chance to win a Palmetto Goodwill gift card.
Important Eligibility Notice
Palmetto Goodwill team members are NOT eligible to enter. The contest is open to Palmetto Goodwill customers as well as friends and family of Palmetto Goodwill team members. Judges and anyone involved in administering the contest or selecting winners are also NOT eligible.

- Promotion begins: Thursday, October 1, 2026
- Entry deadline: Monday, October 26, 2026
Prizes
- First Place: One $200 Palmetto Goodwill gift card
- Runners-Up: Three $100 Palmetto Goodwill gift cards
Costume Requirements
At least 50% of the visible, identifiable costume pieces must have been purchased from Palmetto Goodwill. Eligibility is based on the number of qualifying pieces, not their purchase value. Clothing, shoes, hats, masks and major props count toward the requirement. Makeup and small incidental accessories do not.
What You Need to Enter
Participants must submit a completed contest application, a clear full-costume photo, a list identifying which visible costume pieces were purchased from Palmetto Goodwill and proof of purchase for the qualifying items.
Media Release
A signed media release is required before a prize can be issued and before an entrant’s image or story can be used for promotional purposes. Provisional winners must complete the media release before they are announced or receive their gift card.

Show off your thrifted Halloween creativity! Submit your costume for the 2026 Spooktacular Palmetto Goodwill Thrifted Costume Contest for a chance to win a Palmetto Goodwill gift card! The top Spookster will win the grand prize, a $200 Palmetto Goodwill gift card!
At least 50% of the visible pieces in your costume must be purchased from Palmetto Goodwill with proof of thrifted materials purchased and you must fill out and submit the media release form, or your submission will not be selected for judging. You can find the downloadable media release form here.
All entries must be submitted by October 26, 2026.
