Rapid Reskilling: Digital and Trades Training
We provide Free Google Coursera certifications for adults SC. These courses teach you skills that employers want today:
- IT Support, Cybersecurity, and UX Design: Get certified in foundational tech skills that apply to nearly every industry.
- Data Analytics and Project Management: These flexible, self-paced programs are perfect for beginners looking to change their career path.
- Trades Training: We also offer essential training for stable, hands-on careers, including Fiber Optics and general skilled trades.
These programs are high-value and designed to be completed in under six months, making them the fastest path to re-entry for the mature worker.

Many career change programs for adults 50 and over require a high school diploma. If this is your barrier, we can help you remove it for free.
The Palmetto Excel Center: Education for Adults 21+
The Palmetto Excel Center is a tuition-free public high school specifically for adults 21 and older in the Charleston Tri-County area.
The center helps you earn:
- A fully accredited South Carolina high school diploma.
- Industry-recognized certifications and college credits.
We support you with valuable services including transportation assistance, free on-site childcare, and career coaching, making it simpler to earn your diploma while managing your life.

3. Specialized Support and Coaching
Are you looking to re-enter the workforce, transition to part-time or full-time employment, or change career paths after many years? Our experts provide the roadmap you need, addressing specific challenges like long career gaps or background issues.
We provide services that address financial and background challenges:
- Paid Training for Seniors 55+ (SCSEP): We actively support workforce initiatives like the Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP), a national employment and training program funded by the U.S. Department of Labor. If you are aged 55 or older and meet low-income guidelines, we can connect you with paid, on-the-job training opportunities to help you transition into long-term employment.
- SNAP2Work: If you receive SNAP benefits, you can receive no-cost career navigation assistance through this program. This helps stabilize your finances while you train for your next job.
- I-CAN Reentry Program: We firmly believe in second chances. We offer reentry job training for older adults who are justice-involved individuals. The I-CAN program provides no-cost skills training and paid job experience for participants aged 18 and older.
