Why Your Donation Matters

Your donations help fund vital community programs that support individuals and families in need. Every item you give helps us:

  • Provide job training and employment services
  • Support local community initiatives
  • Reduce landfill waste through reuse and recycling

Estate Pickups

Downsizing, relocating, or managing an estate?

Palmetto Goodwill offers compassionate and efficient estate cleanout services to help ease the process. Whether you’re an estate executor, liquidator, or simply transitioning to a new chapter, we’re here to help.

Service Areas

Charleston, Berkeley, and Dorchester counties (Tri-County region), Horry County, and parts of Georgetown County.

Non-Service Areas

For those who live outside the counties listed above, we proudly partner with ReSupply for pick-ups. ReSupply, founded by Veterans in 2015, can typically schedule pick-ups within 24-48 hours.

Donation Guidelines:

Wondering what you can donate to Goodwill? Our quick guide outlines which clothing, furniture, and household items are accepted—and which items we cannot take.

Commercial & Corporate Donations

Make room and make a difference.

If your business is liquidating inventory or has surplus goods, Palmetto Goodwill can help you donate with ease. We accept:

  • Men’s & women’s clothing
  • Furnishings
  • Electronics
  • Home décor
  • Books & games
  • Household goods

Corporate Giving Opportunities

Host a donation drive at your business! We’ll provide collection bins or schedule a Goodwill truck to be onsite. It’s a great way to engage employees and give back to the community.

School Donation Fundraisers

Turn donations into dollars for your school.

Palmetto Goodwill’s School Donation Drive Program helps schools raise funds for PTOs, clubs, and sports teams—while teaching students about sustainability.

How It Works:

  • Host a 3-hour Saturday donation drive on school property
  • Earn money for every full container of donated items
  • We also pay for gently used small furniture

Accepted Items:

Clothing, shoes, housewares, home décor, books, and small furniture.

Not Accepted:

Box TVs, sofa sleepers, bed pillows, chemicals (paint, gasoline, antifreeze, pesticides, oil), magazines, encyclopedias, mattresses, and box springs.
